Gaza Memories. PalFest Ireland Art Installation. PalFest Irelands art installation on Sandymount Strand in Dublin to commemorate the 556 children from Gaza who were killed by the Israeli bombardment a year ago. For the event 556 infant vests were stuck in the sand. The vests were donated by Irish parents. 8/7/2015.

Heads In The Sand. Members of the public take part in a mass Heads in the Sand event on Sandymount Strand to highlight the government’s attitude towards climate change. The event was organised by Stop Climate Chaos, an umbrella group of development, environmental, youth and faith-based organisations, who are calling for the Climate Bill to be passed into law before the Dail breaks for summer. 04/07/2015.
